ILVA Polimeri obtained the certification of "fire retardant product" Class B1 according to the German norm DIN 4102 for the following products: 
Ilva TS 1557
Ilva TS 1555
Ilva TS 1553

These acrylic double fuction products mixed with hardener TX-166 (10%) form finishes with greater clarity: 
TS 1557 : 8-10 gloss
TS 1555 : 20 - 25 gloss
TS 1553 : 35 - 40 gloss

This series has been tested by the Otto Graf Institute in Stuttgard and the certification was done by
Deutsches Institut fuer Bautechnik in Berlin. The test was done with two coats of finish (100 gr/sqm) with a reduction of 20% of thinner TZ 35. 

Class B1 corresponds to the maximum grade of fire protection in accordance with the above mentioned norm. This series corresponds to Class 1 according to the Italian norm CSE RF2/RF3, Class 1 according to the British norm BS 476, section 7, 1987, and also to M1 according to the French norm NF P 92-501. 

These products are formulated without chlorinated and brominated substances
These substances are commonly used to stop the spread of the fire, but in 
case of fire they emit very toxic gases such as: chlorine, bromine, 
hydrochloric acid, and phosgene.
