May 2001 - The 4th National Meeting of the Interuniversity Association "Chemistry for the Environment" (INCA) was held in S. Margherita Ligure on Sunday 25th February.
ILVA Polimeri (IVM Group - Industrie Vernici Milano), a leading company in the field of wood paints and elastomers was awarded during this occasion. The initiative of the association is part of a wider program concerning "Green Chemistry" or "Sustainable Chemistry", aiming at acknowledging the values of all those companies able to develop more and more environment friendly, innovative technologies.
During that occasion Hecorad®, an innovative UV products range, was awarded for its contribution to environment protection. Hecorad® technology allows the realisation of an innovative furniture painting cycle, odourless and free from residual emissions, careful both to the health of the users and of the producers (furniture factories).
A confirmation of the skills of the researchers team, that co-ordinated by Mr. Cinti, once again obtained a success for the environmental safety, thus guaranteeing high product performance as concerns final aesthetic characteristics and user friendliness.
