June 2002 - HECOPUR^®, the new generation of polyurethane paints products, free from aromatic solvents all considered as "harmful", such as toluene, xylene, ethylbenzene, aromatic naphtha solvent, is born from ILVA Polimeri Research.

HECOPUR^® is the advanced solution particularly indicated for:

- users, since the innovative formulations containing special resins, free from aromatic hydrocarbons, allow to drastically reduce the toxicity level of the products.
- the environment, since they are formulated to reduce the emission into the atmosphere of volatile organic carbon and the development of photochemical ozone.

HECOPUR^® fulfils in advance the prescriptions (use of low volatile organic carbon solvents) indicated in the EC Standard 1999/13 dated 11th march 1999, concerning the solvent emission, that will be soon introduced in our country.

The new HECOPUR^® line guarantees high technical and aesthetic performance, and a high versatility and user friendliness.

HECOPUR^® products can be used to coat several kinds of manufacts. To realise a coating system with an extremely low environmental impact, it is advisable to complete the cycle using water based coating systems.
