2002 - ILVA Polimeri Development and research Laboratories set up Aquaglaze, an innovative water based colours studied to give a perfectly uniform colour to supports produced with different types of wood.
Aquaglaze colours have been formulated with special natural earths, extra fine organic pigments and hydro soluble acrylic emulsions, that allow a dramatic reduction of the emissions in the atmosphere. The colours can be sprayed.
When handled with a subsequent wiping, these paintings give the wood an "antique effect", particularly refined. These paints offer the possibility to markedly colour the pore.
Are extremely light resistant and are available in a wide range of colours.
