Born in Milan on 5 September 1964, Fausto Maggioni began his career in beverage dispensing equipment before moving on to acquire extensive experience in the general retailing sector, where he worked in consumer appliances.

As sales director for Italy's leading retail chain, he was also responsible for managing and coordinating its marketing campaign for the launch of a new brand identity.

Since 2000 he has been Managing Director and General Manager of ILVA Polimeri.
